We'd like to Thank everyone for all the many orders we have recieved this year that have kept us more than busy. And the King Midget keeps going! The Next 18 months is going to be our set up time for the kit car production after which full time production will begin. We are now on our 3rd prototype which is taking into consideration the best of the last two designs and then we are taking the King Midget across America for a durablity test and publicity stunt next summer!
The Plans will be put together as we assembly the new vehicle. We do have Packets of Information that will be sent to People on our Mailing List for the new Car soon. To Place your Name on the Mailing list simply Call or E-Mail us and we will be glad to send you one.
The Kit Car will use most of the original model 3 body panels and retain the same look as the model 3. Some improvements over the original are: Independent Front Suspension, Rack N'Pinion Steering, Disc Brakes, Bucket Seats with Headrests, and a Roll Bar. Basically we plan to build the Rolling Chassis and you can assemble the rest. We estimate the Final Kit Price around $7,000 to $9,000. You will be able to install your own Choice of Engine, anything over 150cc. Some possiblites we've Considered are Bio-Diesel, Electric Motors, Motorcycle Engines, and Standard Briggs & Straton, Honda, Kohler small V-Twin Engines.
